At the intersection of Klopotowski and Sierakowski Street rises the massive building from the 50’s of twentieth century, which nowadays houses the seat of Warsaw’s North Prague district officials. The building was built in the place of the impressive construction of urban public schools, by architect Apollonius Nieniewski’s design. Massive neo-Gothic style building was built in 1903-1904 and was located exactly at the present site of the district office building. As one of the first such projects in Warsaw, of urban public schools building was the pride of the neighborhood. It was completely destroyed during World War II. The only remnant of the old building is the wall that separates the parcel, from the Cathedral. On the wall survived small sign, inserted from the side of the presbytery. The inscription says: “The border wall built in 1917 by efforts of Fr. W. Trojanowski”.
